2:28 p.m. Wednesday — Six people were injured when a car driven by a Parker girl and a sport utility vehicle driven by Emma Hall, 60, of East Brady collided at Route 68 and Grandview Avenue in Chicora.The girl, who police did not identify, and Hall suffered minor injuries. Two Bruin girls and a Parker boy, passengers in the car, as well as Robert Hall, 71, of East Brady, a passenger in the SUV, also suffered minor injuries.The girl driving the car was cited for careless driving.5:55 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Kim Johnson, 51, of Butler struck an embankment on Route 485 in Middlesex Township. Johnson suffered minor injuries.9:52 p.m. Sept. 5 — A car driven by Eric Smith, 20, of Butler struck the rear of an SUV at Route 8 and Glenwood Way in Center Township. Smith was cited for driving too fast for conditions. Debra Knepp, 22, of Butler was driving the SUV.Sept. 2 — A silver, 1986 Saab 900 turbo convertible with a black top was stolen from Mt. Chestnut Auto Sales on North Road in Franklin Township. The car, valued at $8,000, was taken between Aug. 29 and Sept. 2.

2:50 p.m. Wednesday — A 19-year-old Grove City man suffered a serious hand injury when a firecracker he lit went off prematurely on Airport Road in Liberty Township, Mercer County.The victim, who police did not identify, was taken to the Grove City Medical Center and then moved to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known.8:15 a.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old Jackson Center boy struck a ditch and a culvert along Millbrook Road near Route 173 in Worth Township, Mercer County.9:30 p.m. Sunday — Marek Ricinski, 43, of Milwaukee, Wis., a Polish national, was arrested following a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County, when troopers learned he was living in the country illegally. Ricinski, who was turned over to federal immigration authorities, is awaiting deportation.

Monday — A thief broke into a car at McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, and stole apurse and Sirus radio. The theft occurred between 4 and 6 p.m. Henry Cole of Edinboro, Crawford County, owns the car.
