Wednesday — Police are investigating reports of someone throwing objects off the Interstate 79 overpass in Deer Creek Township, Mercer County.In one case, about 9 p.m. Friday, an unknown object shattered a windshield of a mini-van. The driver, identified only as being from Canada, was not injured.Saturday — An unknown rustler stole a calf from a field on Cochran Road in Delaware Township, Mercer County. The theft occurred between 3 and 6:30 a.m. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the barracks at 724-662-6162.

3:49 p.m. Sunday — Ac ar driven by Quintin Copple, 27, of Slippery Rock and a pickup truck driven by Leo Callahan, 77, of New Castle collided on Route 108 in Hickory Township, Lawrence County.Copple was cited for illegal entering or crossing a road, driving a vehicle without inspection, and not wearing a seat belt.
