Monday — About $5,000 in assorted power tools were stolen from a work trailer at a construction site on Route 228 near Adams Ridge Boulevard. The burglary at the site of the new Walgreens occurred between Friday evening and Monday morning.
1:59 a.m. today — Caleb Harper, 19, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car crashed off Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. He also faces charges of resisting arrests and several traffic violations.11:23 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Alex Miranda, no age given, of Pottsville, SchuylkillCounty, struck a deer on Route 8 in Center Township.4:04 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Joel Bussard, 20, of Coraopolis, Allegheny County, veered off Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township and struck an embankment. Bussard, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.9:53 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Mildred Clicquennoi, 86, of Renfrew and a van driven by Jamie Shuster, 34, of Butler collided on Roue 68 in Connoquenessing Township. Both drivers and two girls riding in the van were taken with unknown injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.Monday — Pennsylvania license plate EST1024 was taken between Saturday and Monday from a Dodge vehicle on Broadway Street in East Butler.
12:44 a.m. Nov. 1 — Police responded to a report of a porch fire at 219 W. Grandview Ave. The fire appeared to have been started by a Halloween candle that ignited the porch. It caused minimal damage to the porch.5:12 p.m. Oct. 31 — Vehicles driven by Robert George Ekey, 47, of Zelienople and by Rayna M. Poole, 30, of Evans City collided on Main Street.
Sunday — Police arrested Robert Duane McFeaters, 46, of North Broad Street in the parking lot of BiLo Market for DUI, general lighting requirements, required position and method of turning following a traffic stop.Sunday — Police arrested William Clair Peth, 48, of East Main Street, on East Poplar Street for DUI, general lighting requirements, required position and method of turning.Saturday — Hayley Smith, 28, of Euclid Avenue, Sharon was charged with DUI after being stopped for a traffic violation on West Main Street at South Center.
