8:16 p.m. Tuesday — Cars driven by Gary Doctor, 58, of Cabot and Linda Bowser, 57, of Butler collided on Route 356 near Green Manor Drive in Summit Township. The driver of a sport utility vehicle, whose name was not immediately known, swerved to avoid the collision but struck Bowser's car.Bowser, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a moderate head injury. Police said the investigation continues.6:05 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Deborah Toth, no age given, of Hilliards struck a deer on Route 308 near Route 138 in Clay Township. Toth, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.1:51 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by April Ryan, 23, of Knox, Clarion County, struck a utility pole and fence along Route 268 in Fairview Township. Ryan was cited for not wearing a seat belt and another undisclosed traffic violation.Monday — Someone removed $10 worth of gasoline from a car parked on Hanna Lane in Muddy Creek Township. The theft occurred between 12:01 and 7 a.m. Rebecca McCracken of Prospect owns the car.Sunday — Someone damaged two signs at Regrut's Auto on Currie Road in Worth Township. The vandalism occurred between 7 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.
3:04 a.m. Saturday — Jeremy Scott Craig, 20, of Rimersburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 in Toby Township, Clarion County. He was also cited for underage drinking and several undisclosed traffic violations.
10:19 p.m. Tuesday — Timothy Welton, 22, of Grove City was arrested for allegedly stealing two cartons of cigarettes, valued at $80.26, from the Kwik Fill/Red Apple store on Leesburg-Grove City Road in Springfield Township, Mercer County. Welton is charged with retail theft.
