Sunday — A thief used a Butler man's identity to open a credit card account at a Clearview Mall department store in Center Township that in turn was used to buy three televisions between Nov. 30 and Sunday.Police said their investigation continues; however, they have a suspect in the case who they did not identify.Nov. 29 — Bernard McTighe of Summit Township reported that Pennsylvania license plate YNT4176 was taken between 4 and 8:30 p.m. from his truck at the Clearview Mall parking lot in Center Township.

9 a.m. Wednesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Derek Walko, 43, of Edinburg, Lawrence County, skidded off Interstate 80 and struck several small tress in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County.6:52 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Ryan Vatter, 19, of Grove City and a sport utility vehicle driven by Jerry Reynolds, 60, of Sandy Lake collided on Route 62 in Stoneboro, Mercer County.Both drivers wore seat belts and were taken to hospitals with minor to moderate injuries.12:30 a.m. Sunday — Melissa Rae McKinney, 36, of Grove City was arrested for allegedly scratching Daniel McKinney, 36, of Grove City at a Landfill Road home in Liberty Township, Mercer County. Melissa McKinney is charged with simple assault and harassment.12:20 p.m. Nov. 30 — Samantha Ray Simon, 21, of Grove City was arrested for allegedly shoplifting six video game discs valued at $118 at the Wal-Mart in Pine Township, Mercer County. She is charged with retail theft.
