5:47 p.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Billie Kerr, 50, of Chicora and a car driven by Linda Jones, 37, of Center Township collided at North Main and West Brady streets. Jones, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with moderate injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital. Kerr was cited for a traffic light violation.

6 p.m. Sunday — Scott Edward Hart, 40, was arrested for allegedly assaulting Kelly Hart, 28, during a domestic dispute at the couple's Forester Road home in Slippery Rock. Scott Hart was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond.1:05 p.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Joseph Evans, 75, of Cranberry Township and Suela Jones, 31, of New Castle collided on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Evans was cited for an illegal lane change.9:53 a.m. Sunday — Apickup truck driven by Daniel Sweeney, 21, of Slippery Rock struck a mailbox and an embankment along West Park Road in Muddy Creek Township. Sweeney was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
