6:59 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Kathleen Urmann, 66, of Butler struck a parked car owned by Joseph Smith on West Cunningham Street. Urmann was taken by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.Dec. 29 — An unknown vehicle struck a parked car owned by Maxine Ireland of Butler on East Brady Street.

Friday — Someone broke into nine buildings at the Northwest Pennsylvania Steam Engine and Old Equipment Association fairgrounds off Route 19 in Muddy Creek Township between Dec. 10 and Jan. 5 and stole a John Deere chainsaw, John Deere weed eater, a mower, 48 T-shirts and 200 pin-on buttons. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.10:42 a.m. Friday — Police found a collapsible picnic table off Route 422 at the Route 2006 Mitchell Hill on-ramp in Summit Township. The owner can claim the table at the Butler barracks off New Castle Road in Butler Township.Monday — Someone pried open a steel drop box and stole an envelope with money at Mitchell Hill Apartments in Summit Township between Dec. 30 and Jan. 1.9:59 a.m. Dec. 27 — A car driven by Thomas Young, 21, of Sarver and a motor home driven by Frank Miller, 60, of Sarver collided on Route 8001 at the southbound on-ramp onto Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. No injuries were reported. Young was charged with hit-run attended vehicle and overtaking a vehicle on the right.

12:28 p.m. Wednesday — A motorcycle driven by Clark Hall, 48, of McKees Rocks and a tri-axle truck driven by Randon Burns, 57, of Sligo collided on Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township. The impact sent the motorcycle 33 feet into a guardrail. Hall, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of leg pain. Burns was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. The East Brady Volunteer Fire Department and EMS assisted at the scene.Monday — Someone stole $875 from the Village Coffee Shop in Worthington between 1:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

1:27 a.m. Friday — Robert J. Payne, 40, of Gibsonia was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, operation of a vehicle without an official certificate of inspection and general lighting requirements following a traffic stop on Butler Road.
