Thursday — Someone stole a stereo out of an unlocked Chevrolet Cavalier at Mitchell Hill Motors on Mitchell Hill Road in Summit Township between Dec. 28 and Jan. 11. 3:45 p.m. Jan. 7 — When a disabled car owned by Sandra Smith of Butler was being moved from Cupps Street, it wrecked into a foundation wall at 231 Zeigler Ave.

Dec. 31 — James Edward Haggart, 28, of Beaver Falls, Beaver County, was charged for driving under the influence after police witnessed his vehicle speeding on Evans City Road, which is Route 68.9:22 p.m. Dec. 22 — Robert William Pegher, 43, of 500 Upper Harmony Road, Evans City, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police say his vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Little Creek and Swain Hill roads.
