2:55 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Elvis Major, 27, of Butler, hit a bridge on Route 68 in Forward Township. He was not injured.7:12 p.m. Thursday — Derrick Seidler, 18, of Butler has been cited by police for turning left from Route 488 onto Route 528 into the path of a car driven by Richard Dishler, 48, of Beaver Falls. No one was injured.4:56 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Robert Longdon, 27, of Saxonburg, slid off of the snow covered Westminster Road in Clinton Township and hit a tree. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with moderate injuries.11:29 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by William Moore, 34, of 213 Brick Road in Hilliards slid on an icy driveway into Old Brick Road in Washington Township and hit a car driven by Jeffrey Slage, 47, of Bruin. No one was injured.9:20 p.m. Wednesday — Arthur Miller, 23, of Petrolia drove his car off of Story Road in Parker Township, and landed in a ditch. During the investigation officers noticed that Miller was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for DUI and other traffic violations.9:42 p.m. Tuesday — Kurt Kiesewetter, 40, of Kennerdell lost control of the car he was driving on Route 308 in Center Township, which hit a guard rail, became airborne, hit some trees and flipped onto its roof. Kiesewetter suffered only minor injuries and charges are to be filed against him.State Police, Clarion7:20 p.m. Tuesday — A 16-year-old boy punched a window at the Speedy Wash in Rimersburg, breaking the window. He is working with store owner to pay for the window.
6:40 a.m. Thursday — Eric James Beck, 25, of Prospect, was a passenger in a car on Route 28, when police found several bags of heroin and syringes in his possession.10 a.m. Tuesday — Richard William Grim, 40, who is an inmate in the Armstrong County Prison in Kittanning is charged with the aggravated assault of Corrections Officer Shawn Crytzer, 41. Crytzer's injuries or why Grim is in the prison is unknown.Jan. 16 — Someone took three reels of phone wire from Rosebud Mining in Ford City. Each reel had 1,000 feet of wire and was worth $1,110 each.
2:53 a.m. Jan. 20 — Gregory K. Hoffman, 30, of 203 W. Stoney Batter Road, Prospect, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police were called to an accident on Hartmann Road. Hoffman was traveling east on Hartmann Road and his vehicle struck a tree and flipped onto its roof. The man had a head injury and was taken by Harmony EMS to UPMC Passavant Cranberry for treatment.
