3:42 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Jeffrey Skidmore, 51, of Butler struck the rear of a pickup that was parked on Morton Avenue. Deborah Best of Pittsburgh owns the truck.Friday — Robert E. Hilliard, 46, of Cranberry Township was cited for writing a $184.50 bad check to the API store on South Monroe Street on Nov. 24.Friday — Several people reported their vehicles' windows smashed overnight. Gary Rege of Hilliards reported the rear driver's side window of his Chevy Impala was smashed while the car was parked on West Wayne Street. Patricia Selfridge of Butler reported the rear window of her Dodge van was smashed while the vehicle also was parked on West Wayne Street. Dave Lewis of Butler reported the rear driver's side window of his Nissan Maxima was smashed while the vehicle was parked on Virginia Avenue. Ronald McCracken of Butler reported the driver's side window of his vehicle was smashed while the vehicle was parked on Pillow Street.
3:15 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Christine Weingartner, 37, hit a pole off snow-covered Hilliards Road in Washington Township. She was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.10 a.m. Wednesday — An unknown woman used the credit card number of Robert J. Double Jr., 23, of Center Township to withdraw $164 from the account. Double gave his number to the woman after she claimed to be from Publishers Sweepstakes informing him of winning the choice of $25,000 cash or a new BMW car and wanted to sell him a magazine subscription. Police are investigating.8 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Justin Sirianni, 23, of Export, Westmoreland County, struck an embankment off Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township and rolled over, landing on its wheels. He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.Noon Jan. 25 — Someone stole $1,100 from the checking account of TNT Construction of Karns City by unknown means. Police are investigating.
6:40 p.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old Emlenton female struck a vehicle parked in the Wal-Mart lot in Monroe Township. The driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.8:30 p.m. Jan. 27 — A car driven by Daniel Brosius of Knox backed into a car parked at Clarview Nursing Home in Piney Township. He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
