5:40 p.m. Sunday — Michael McFarland, 41, of Ellwood City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle that was towing a camper trailer crashed and rolled over on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.McFarland and Kenneth Cox, no age given, of Ellwood City, a passenger, suffered minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.4:15 a.m. Sunday — An unidentified orange vehicle traveled through a yard and hit a gas meter at the Lake Arthur Trailer Court in Muddy Creek Township. Police said the unknown driver drove away after the crash.2 a.m. Sunday — Timothy Badges-Caning, no age given of Emlenton, Venango County, was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his pickup truck struck a tree along Route 38 near Sandy Point Road in Allegheny Township.1 p.m. Saturday — A boy's bicycle was found near a set of railroad tracks in the 300 block of Fairmont Road in Fairview Township. The owner can claim the bike by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.3 a.m. Saturday — Robert Pflugh, 41, of Butler was arrested for punching Christine Pflugh, 34, of Butler at a North Road home in Franklin Township. Robert Pflugh was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bond.5 p.m. Friday — Gregory Charlton, 46, of Butler was arrested for punching Debra Pletcher, 44, of Butler at a Valencia Street home in the Port-O-Call Trailer Park, Penn Township. Charlton was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bond.1:30 a.m. Friday — Avehicle driven by Cody Klingensmith, 20, of Kittanning struck a ditch on Ralston Road in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Klingensmith and Lyndi Delisio, 21, of Ellwood City, fled the crash site. Delisio, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Tuesday — About 250 feet of lead wire was stolen between Nov. 1 and Tuesday from a portable welder parked on Lake Road in Oakland Township. Jeffery Burns of Butler owns the stolen property.
