Wednesday — Lawrence Sheetz Jr. of Butler reported his bike was taken between 4 and 9 p.m. from South Monroe Street. The 26-inch, Jeep Wrangler TSIbike is maroon with a red, white and black seat.

Tuesday — Someone started a fire outside the Clay Township Building on Euclid School Road that melted the rear lighting of a salt spreader.State Police, Mercer4 p.m. Wednesday — Ablue, Yamaha dirt bike was found at Route 208 and Center School Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.

7:33 a.m. Aug. 9 — A lumber company truck driven by Brian Mazine, no age available, of Monaca, Beaver County, was backing up at the traffic light at the intersection of East Grandview Avenue and North Main Street, when he backed into a vehicle driven by Kendall Bieselt, 26, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County. Both vehicles had minor damage. No injuries were reported.
