Wednesday — Rachel Vandyke, 18, of Jackson Center, Mercer County, was arrested on charges of selling crack cocaine from a Shore Street home.Task force officials noted that Vandyke's arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug sales at the same house. On Aug 16, Scott Locke, 36, and Joyce M. Anderson, 34, both of Butler and former tenants of the home, were arrested; both are facing drug delivery charges in Butler County Court.

Thursday — Police charged Christopher Michael Miller, 20, of Butler stemming from an Aug. 20 disturbance with several residents on West Quarry Street who were reportedly upset with Miller setting off "pressure bombs" in the neighborhood.Miller was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct.Police, meanwhile, reported that Miller and Anthony McCardle, 21, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, also face two counts each of disorderly conduct for allegedly setting off a pair of pressure bombs about 11 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 100 block of West Quarry Street.

1:42 a.m. Wednesday — Matthew Plever, 27, of Coraopolis, Allegheny County, was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.
