10:11 p.m. Monday — Christopher Eckel, 27, of Summit Township allegedly used a handgun to threaten David Hogue, 19, of Butler at a Quarry Street apartment. Police said Eckel is charged with simple assault and carrying a gun without a permit.10:40 p.m. Sunday — A 14-year-old Butler boy drove a car into another car parked on East Walnut Street. Police cited the boy for driving without a license.

9:59 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Constance Wise, 61, and a truck driven by Dennis Cornibe, 60, both of Butler collided at Route 8 South and Vogel Road. Wise was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for unknown injuries.4:05 a.m. Monday — Thaddeus Rosenbauer, 22, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle struck a guardrail and tree along Alameda Park Road.Police said that in addition to DUI, Rosenbauer faces charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and other traffic violations.3:50 a.m. Saturday — Shane McCommon, 18, of Butler was arrested for DUI on Fairground Hill Road. In addition to DUI, police said McCommon was cited for speeding and underage drinking.Police noted that a 16-year-old girl riding in McCommon's car was also cited for underage drinking.
