1:15 a.m. today — A tractor-trailer driven by Scott Adams, 44, of Grove City crashed and overturned on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. Police said Adams suffered minor injuries.Wednesday — Thirty-three people were stopped for speeding during an aerial speed enforcement operation on Route 422 in Butler Township. Township police assisted state police in the detail conducted between 3:40 and 6:20 p.m. Police noted that in all, 38 citations and two warnings were issued.Sunday — An unknown thief between Aug. 30 and Sunday stole an undisclosed amount of money from an office at Schrupp Industries in Parker, Armstrong County.3:59 p.m. Aug. 27 — A car driven by Erin Lauria, 18, of Portersville struck a gas line marker and tree along Ralston Road in Slippery Rock Township.
6:20 p.m. Tuesday — A Lawrence County man was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was driving crashed on Route 208 in Irwin Township, Venango County.Police said Scott Rodgers, no age given, of New Castle was thrown off his 1981 Suzuki after the cycle struck a ditch. Apolice report did not indicate if the victim was wearing a helmet.Amedical helicopter flew Rodgers to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio, where he was admitted in critical condition; his condition was not known this morning.
