11:40 p.m. Wednesday — Roy D. Burns, 52, of Boyers was injured when the motorcycle he was driving struck a deer on Route 308 just north of Murrin Road in Marion Township.Police said Burns, who was wearing a helmet, suffered broken ribs, as well as cuts and bruises on a shoulder. He was treated for the injuries at Grove City Medical Center.4:05 p.m. Wednesday — Nothing was apparently taken in a burglary at an undisclosed location on Irwin Road in Clearfield Township.Wednesday — Agold wedding band, power tools and a wallet with cash were taken between 8:45 and 11 a.m. in a burglary at the Country Club Road home of Karl Evans in Franklin Township.2:17 a.m. Sunday — Jerry Douglas, 31, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 8 and Ralston Road in Slippery Rock Township.
