2:35 a.m. Sunday — Sennie Ann Northime, 22, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on South Chestnut Street. Police said Northime also was cited for driving with faulty rear lights.
9 p.m. Tuesday — Ronald Shields, 51, allegedly allowed several dogs to go without water and adequate shelter at his Hines Road home in Slippery Rock Township. Police charged Shields with cruelty to animals.6:30 p.m. Tuesday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Dana Osselborn, no age given, of Evans City crashed into a guardrail after skidding off snow and ice covered Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.
Dec. 21 — Two New Bethlehem juveniles were arrested in connection with the theft of four chrome hubcaps and two trailer hitches from the Union High School parking lot in Madison Township.The hubcaps and one hitch were returned to their owner, but police are searching for the owner of the second hitch. The owner can claim the property by calling Cpl. Alan Carmichael at the police station at 814-226-1710.
2:52 p.m. Wednesday — Avehicle driven by Felicia Ann Crosby, 28, of Garfield Heights, Ohio, crashed over an embankment and overturned on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.6:38 a.m. Wednesday — Apickup truck driven by William Coughenour, 56, of Stoneboro and a car driven by Erin Joseph, 25, of Sharon collided on Route 58 at the Wal-Mart entrance in Pine Township. Joseph was treated at Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries.
4:21 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Matthew Aeschbacher, 20, of New Castle crashed and rolled onto its roof on Old Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Loren Wellhausen, 16, of New Castle, a passenger, was taken to Ellwood City Hospital for a minor injury.Police said Aeschbacher was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
