1:51 a.m. today — Officers found a 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck on Fifth Avenue about an hour after the owner reported it stolen.Troy Sellers told police the truck was parked in front of his West Penn Street home, and it was taken between 7 p.m. Thursday and 12:40 a.m. today. The unknown thief apparently punched the ignition lock and made off with the pickup.The truck's engine was still running when it was found.5:11 a.m. Wednesday — Shari Rae Donnel, 43, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at West Penn and Broad streets. Police said Donnel was also cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property and an open container violation.

5:25 p.m. Thursday — A16-year-old old boy was arrested for allegedly punching Braden Yartz, 50, of Butler during a domestic dispute at a Toms Lane home in Oakland Township. The boy, who police did not identify, is charged in juvenile court with simple assault, harassment and underage drinking.2:15 p.m. Jan. 22 — Vans driven by John Serfozo Jr., 32, of Evans City and Cassandra Divers, 41, of Petrolia collided on Fairmont Road in Fairview Township. Both drivers were treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for unknown injuries. Serfozo was cited for driving too fast for conditions.9:08 p.m. Jan. 21 — A vehicle driven by Ryan Waltman, 25, of Chicora struck an embankment on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township.6:30 a.m. Jan. 21 — A pickup truck driven by Robert Bencoster, 28, of Hilliards struck a car that had earlier crashed and was on its roof on Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township. Michael Gold, 36, of Hilliards was driving the car.
