3:41 a.m. March 8 — A vehicle driven by Sean Steinhiser, 23, of Sarver struck a utility pole off snow-covered Morton Avenue.

1:40 a.m. Sunday — David Finney, 42, of Wexford was arrested for allegedly punching 42-year-old Rhonda Bortmes in the face several times as Bortmes drove a car in the Karns City High School parking lot in Karns City. Finney is charged with simple assault.Bortmes, also of Wexford, meanwhile, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.Sunday — A17-year-old Butler boy is suspected of stealing an Xbox gaming system and an Xbox video game while at a party at a Marwood Road home in Winfield Township. Police did not identify the suspect.5:40 a.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Kimberly Poston, 30, of Butler struck the interior wall of a tunnel on ice-covered Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township. Police said Poston, who was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Saturday — An unknown thief or thieves between 12:01 a.m. Wednesday and noon Saturday stole several municipal-owned road signs and posts from four roads in Marion Township. Stolen were stop signs, speed limit signs, weight limit signs, bridge marking signs and arrow signs on Campground, McFadden, Vandyke and Porter roads.10:30 p.m. Friday — A 16-year-old is accused of using a baseball bat to assault Daniel Christiana, 48, at the victim's Boozel Road home in Slippery Rock Township. Christiana suffered minor injuries. Police said the teenager, who authorities did not identify, faces charges of simple assault and harassment.8:35 p.m. Friday — An SUVdriven by Tomas Hockenberry, 43, of Boyers struck the rear of a car stopped at a traffic light on Route 8 at the Clearview Mall entrance in Center Township. The car driven by Patrick Lemay, of Butler, was pushed into the rear of another SUV driven by Vincent McAnallen, no address given. Police said Hockenberry was cited for the crash.2:57 a.m. March 16 — Brian R. Podobensky, 26, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on New Castle Road near South Eberhart Road in Butler Township.

9:30 p.m. Friday — A 17-year-old Rimersburg boy suffered minor injuries when the pickup truck he was driving crashed into a ditch and rolled onto its roof on Kline Road in Toby Township. The boy, who police did not identify, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.7:50 a.m. Friday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Joseph Belsterling, 35, of Zelienople struck a tree after sliding off snow- and slush-covered Interstate 80 in Clarion Township.

12:05 a.m. Saturday — Jerald Douglas Anthony, 52, of Ford City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township.State Police, Mercer9:30 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by William D. Schmidt, 46, of Grove City crashed down an embankment and struck several trees along North Liberty Road in Pine Township. Police said Schmidt was cited for a lane violation.
