10:10 a.m. Wednesday — Police are seeking the unknown driver of a white box truck suspected in a hit-and-run crash in the eastbound lanes on Route 422. The truck struck a red Chevrolet S-10 Blazer and did not stop after the collision.Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.

8:50 p.m. April 29 — An Allegheny County man was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was driving crashed on Route 68 in East Brady Township.Police said Michael Kohute, 34, of Bairdford in West Deer Township, who was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for his injuries, was cited for a lane violation.

Sunday — About $500 worth of lumber was stolen from the Cheeseman Road home of George Cheeseman in Slippery Rock Township. Police said the theft happened between 10 a.m. and noon.8:23 a.m. Thursday — Acar driven by Angela Carline, 22, of Poland, Ohio, and a pickup truck driven by Misty Durnell-Harruff, 28, of Butler collided at Route 168 and Hawthorne Road in Taylor Township. Police said Carline was cited for illegally passing another vehicle.

Tuesday — A Grove City man was arrested after allegedly driving a borrowed Ford Explorer through 20 to 30 acres of alfalfa at a Hay Lane farm in Pine Township.Police said Stephen J. Kurz, 28, between Monday night and early Tuesday morning caused about $6,000 in damage to the alfalfa that was ready to be harvested.David Hay of Grove City owns the property and Richard Stuchal of Slippery Rock owns the alfalfa, according to a police report.Kurz is charged with felony counts of agricultural vandalism and criminal mischief. Additionally, he was cited for driving with a suspended license, trespass by vehicle and disorderly conduct.The defendant is being held in Mercer County Prison on a parole detainer.11:30 p.m. Saturday — Richard J. Brock, 39, of Stoneboro was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck struck a ditch, culvert, large rock and tree along Henderson Road near Griffin Road in Sandy Lake Township.Brock was treated at Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries.
