Local communities will hold egg hunts this month. The following egg hunts are scheduled:

10 a.m. Saturday, Karns City High School practice field, 1446 Kittanning Pike, Karns City. The free hunt is for children in sixth grade and younger. The sponsor is Harvest Community Church — Petroleum Valley Campus.

10 a.m. Saturday, Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia. The event is free for children ages 10 and younger and will include crafts, games and prizes. Register at www.valenciapresbyterian.com through Thursday.

10:30 a.m. Saturday, CrossWay Church, 109 Davis Road, Valencia. The free “Easter EGGspedition” will be outside and indoors. It is for children ages 12 and younger and will include carnival games, a bounce house, food, fire trucks, live music and performances, face painting and prizes. Take a basket. 10:30 a.m. March 27, Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia. The event is for young children.
