Dick and Violet Dunmyre of Karns City will celebrate 35 years of marriage on Monday.

The former Violet Harris married Dick Dunmyre on March 15, 1969, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chicora.

They have two daughters, Allison Johnston of Youngstown, Ohio, and Andrea Dunmyre of Karns City.

Dunmyre is self-employed as a certified public accountant.

Mrs. Dunmyre is retired from Mellon Bank and is now working part-time at Lutherlyn. She is a member of River's Bend quilters.

They are members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora.
