Al and Mary Goodgasell of Chicora will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday.

Goodgasell and the former Mary (Smith) Murtland were married on April 24, 1954, at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.

They are the parents of Harry Murtland of Flinton and Debbie Angert of Chicora.

They also have six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Goodgasell is retired from Pullman Standard in Butler.

Mrs. Goodgasell is a homemaker.

They are members of Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church.
