Stephen and Emma Prokay celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner and a family vacation to Deep Creek Lake, Md.

The former Emma Neal married Stephen Prokay on March 20, 1954, in Pentecostal Tabernacle in Punxsutawney.

They are the parents of Steven Prokay of Parker, Mark Prokay and Tammy Bowser, both of West Sunbury, and Michael Prokay of Grove City. A daughter, Donna "Chrissy" Prokay, is deceased.

They also have six grandchildren.

Prokay is retired from Pullman Standard and Warner and Warner Construction.

Mrs. Prokay is a domestic engineer and a part-time office cleaner.

They are members of Ridgeville United Methodist Church and enjoy NASCAR, camping, fishing and football.
