John "Jack" and Rena Minteer of East Butler celebrated 40 years of marriage with a family breakfast at Rose Haven Bed and Breakfast in Butler.

The former Rena Traggiai married Jack Minteer on April 2, 1964, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.

They have four children, Michelle Moon of Forestville, Keith Minteer of East Butler, and Christine Morgan and Jodi Minteer, both of Butler.

They also have three grandchildren.

Minteer is retired from Magnetics.

Mrs. Minteer is a secretary at Lou Negley's Bottled Water Service.

They are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
