Frank and Mary Cottage of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. May 16 at St. Peter's Parish Hall, 127 Franklin St. The party will also commemorate Mrs. Cottage's 80th birthday.

The former Mary Holman married Frank Cottage on May 9, 1944, at St. Veronica's Roman Catholic Church in Ambridge.

They have two children, Ronald Cottage and Sandra Osche, both of Butler.

They also have seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Cottage is retired from Mikan Motors, where he worked as a mechanic.

Mrs. Cottage is a former seamstress, who worked at Bobbie Brooks.

The couple attends St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Butler and enjoys gardening and growing vegetables.
