Dean and Opal Bollinger of Boyers celebrated their 60th anniversary with a family dinner at the Tradition in Harrisville.

Bollinger and the former Opal Lynch were married June 21, 1944, in a parsonage in Hutchinson, Kan.

They are the parents of Sherry Hixson of Beach Creek and Lisa Mueller of Erie. They also have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Bollinger is a retired machinist. He is a member of the F. and A.M. Lodge 603, the New Castle Consistory, the Moniteau Ceremonial Squad and the American Legion Post 852. He is also a charter member of the World War II Memorial.

Mrs. Bollinger is retired from the Civil Service. She is a member of AARP.

The couple belongs to Boyers United Methodist Church, where she is a member of the Women's Society and the Jolly Models.
