Anthony and Frances Christofano of Butler celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Bravo's Restaurant in Cranberry Township.

Christofano and the former Frances Warren were married July 24, 1954, by the Rev. Ettore DeNapoli at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They are the parents of Anthony Christofano of Commerce City, Colo.; Theresa Wooldridge of Ellerslie, Md.; Donna Majetich of New Kensington; and Michael Christofano, Joseph Christofano and Anna Marie Powers, all of Butler. They also have seven grandchildren.

Christofano is retired from Pullman Standard and Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV. He works part time as a bus driver for BART. He is a member of the Elk's Lodge 170 and the French and Belgium Club.

Mrs. Christofano is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, where Mrs. Christofano is a member of St. Michael's 55 and Alive Club.
