Carmen Oliva of Butler will celebrate his 90th birthday with a family dinner on Thursday.

Oliva was born Aug. 19, 1914 in West Winfield. He married Mabel Cooper on July 6, 1945.

He has three children, Pat Montag and Bev Silbaugh, both of Butler, and Tom Oliva of Houston. He also has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Oliva, a self-employed barber, is now retired. He is a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and the United Commercial Travelers.
