Edward and Shirley Green of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner. They will also celebrate with a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean.

The former Shirley DeLucenay married Green on Oct. 30, 1954 in Auburn, Ind.

They have three children, Edward Green and Barbara Green, both of Butler, and Glen Green of Pittsburgh.

They also have two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Green is retired from the maintenance department at Armco. He is a member of the American Legion, Elks Club and Armco Veterans Club.

Mrs. Green is retired from Kirks Men's Wear in Butler Township. She is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

The couple attends St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
