Curtis and Karen Evans of Butler celebrated 25 years of marriage with a surprise party given by children and family at the Lick Hill Fire Hall.

The former Karen Osche married Evans on Sept. 1, 1979, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have two children, Michael Evans and Michelle Evans, both of Butler. They also have two grandsons.

Evans works as a machinist at Robinson Industries in Harmony.

Mrs. Evans works as a team member at Target in Butler.

Both are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, where Mrs. Evans is a greeter and a member of the bell choir.
