Kenneth and Barbara "Hon" Gerwick of Eau Claire will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Eau Claire Fire Hall.

The former Barbara Vogle married Gerwick on Sept. 18, 1954, at Plum Creek Presbyterian Church in Plum Township.

They have three sons, Glenn Gerwick of St. Petersburg, David Gerwick of Eau Claire and Steven Gerwick of Butler. They also have three grandchildren.

Gerwick retired from J.M. Beatty Furniture in Eau Claire, where he worked as a carpet installer.

Mrs. Gerwick is a homemaker. She enjoys quilting.
