James Corbett of Jefferson Manor Health Center celebrated his 90th birthday recently with a party at the health center. Entertainment was provided by the Tom Walker Family.

Corbett was born Oct 16, 1914. He married Mary Male on June 20, 1940. She is deceased.

He has two children, James Corbett of East Brady and William Corbett of Butler. He also has two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Corbett is the former Mayor of East Brady. He also served as president of Council and Constable in East Brady. He worked as a dragline and heavy equipment operator at Rimersburg Coal and in the weld shop at Armco.

Corbett also owned a lawn mower repair and weld shop in East Brady. He enjoys hunting, fishing and gardening.
