Ethel M. Bartley of Shelbourne Assisted Living in Butler will celebrate her 99th birthday on Oct. 7.

The former Ethel Neupert was born Oct. 7, 1905, in Clinton Township. She married Roy Bartley on April 17, 1944. He died on June 16, 1968.

She has many nieces and nephews with whom she is close.

Mrs. Bartley is a member of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, the Dorcus Missionary Society and the Women's Christian Temperance.
