Ray and Melda Lesseski of Sarver celebrated 50 years of marriage by renewing their vows at Bethel Bible Baptist Church in Worthington. A reception followed at the Maranatha Youth Ranch in Worthington.

The former Melda Kemery married Lesseski on Sept. 11, 1954 at Magothy Methodist Church in Pasadena, Md.

They have three children, Cynthia Lesseski Wilson of Cabot, James Lesseski of Sarver and Daniel Lesseski of Sharpsburg, Ga.

They also have 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Lesseski is retired from Mine Safety Appliances in Callery. He is currently the pastor at Bethel Bible Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lesseski is a retired visiting nurse.

Both are members of Bethel Bible Baptist Church and attend Bible study at the Tanglewood Center.
