Frank and Pearl Kocher of Donegal, formerly of Chicora, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Kocher and the former Pearl Kriley were married Oct. 2, 1954, at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

They are the parents of Karen Kocher of Fort Mills, S.C.; Anthony "Tony" Kocher of Charlotte, N.C.; Renita Beale of Alexandria, Ohio; and Eric Kocher of Chicora. They also have eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. A granddaughter is deceased.

Kocher retired in 1991 from Armco. A veteran of the Korean War, he is a member of the East Butler Volunteer Fire Company, Knights of Columbus, V.F.W. and American Legion. He is a charter member of the South Butler Fire Company.

Mrs. Kocher is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center.
