Carl Sr. and Rose McGrady of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with an open house at the Succop Conservancy.

The former Rose Morabito married McGrady on Oct. 16, 1944, at St. Concord Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.

They have two children, Carl McGrady Jr. of Butler and Rosemarie Shirk of Pittsburgh. They also have two grandchildren.

McGrady retired from Armco in 1984 after 40 years. He is a member of the Moose Lodge 64 of Butler.

Mrs. McGrady retired from Butler Food Service in 1983 after 20 years. She is a member of the Lady Moose Lodge 260 of Butler.

The couple belongs to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
