Joe and Charlotte Potts of Butler celebrated 40 years of marriage recently with a trip to Niagara Falls. They will also celebrate with a family dinner.

The former Charlotte Dick married Potts on Oct. 17, 1964, at United Church of Prospect.

They have three children, Jodi Potts and Jennifer Schaub, both of Butler, and Joe Potts of Slippery Rock. They also have three grandchildren.

Joe Potts is retired after working for Kesco, Inc., in Butler and for Halstead Industries in Zelienople.

Mrs. Potts works at U.S. Investigation Services in Boyers.

Mrs. Potts is also a deacon at the Presbyterian Church of Prospect.
