ETNA — Joshua Huber was ordered to trial after a preliminary hearing Friday on charges that he killed Derek Schindler, 30, and his girlfriend, Melissa Zuk, 22, after an argument over money at his apartment in Etna, a Pittsburgh newspaper reports.

Allegheny County detectives say that happened April 15 after the trio spent time drinking and smoking marijuana.

Defense attorney Robert Andrews says Zuk slapped Huber and Schindler rushed at Huber, who suffered a broken nose and other injuries. Huber is charged with two counts of criminal homicide.
