Terence and Nancy Keegan of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the Butler Days Inn. They also celebrated with a trip to Rome.

The former Nancy Sampson married Keegan on Nov. 20, 1954, at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in West Newton.

They have five children, Marian Keegan of Hawley; Terence Keegan of Sylvania, Ohio; Kevin Keegan of Derry; Kathleen Gallagher of Butler; and Robert Keegan of Orlando, Fla. They also have five grandchildren.

Keegan is retired from Fox Chapel School District, where he worked as an administrator.

Mrs. Keegan is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church.
