Charles and Catherine Pritts of Valencia celebrated 62 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Runway Restaurant.

The former Catherine Fritz married Pritts on Dec. 7 1942, in Belton, Texas.

They have three children, Weeta McAfee of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Donna Miller and Charles "Tom" Pritts, both of Valencia.

They also have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pritts is a retired operating engineer. He enjoys woodworking.

Mrs. Pritts is retired from

St. John's Nursing Home in Valencia.

She enjoys sewing.

The couple belongs to Mars Lutheran Church.
