Bridget Higgins, a resident of Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot, will celebrate her 95th birthday with a family gathering at Concordia.

The former Bridget Smith was born March 28, 1910 in North Oakland. She married Hugh Higgins on Nov. 24, 1932. He is deceased.

She has four children, Kenneth Higgins of Butler; Thomas Higgins and Geraldine Covert, both of Renfrew; and Mary Seman of Hinsdale, Ill. She also has 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Higgins is a former homemaker. She was also a former American Red Cross Gray Lady volunteer at Butler Memorial Hospital and a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

She is a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
