Gertrude Webster of the Chicora Medical Center celebrated her 100th birthday with a party with family, friends and medical center staff.

The former Gertrude Hohn was born March 3, 1905 in Butler. She married Glenn Webster on May 22, 1943.

Mrs. Webster enjoys playing the piano, gardening, baseball games, crocheting and animals. She is a member of First United Methodist Church.

She retired from Murphy's Mart in the 1970s.
