Laura "Dolly" Somerville of Shelbourne Assisted Living Residence in Penn Township celebrated her 100th birthday with a family party.

The former Laura Waite was born March 28, 1905, in Sligo. She married Doyle Somerville in 1925. He is deceased.

She has one son, Robert Somerville of Butler. She also has two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Somerville worked as a sales clerk at the Vogue Dress Shop in Butler.

She enjoys flowers and decorating.
