Robert and Wanda Riemer of Saxonburg will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Shakespeare's Restaurant.

The former Wanda Kradel married Riemer on May 21, 1955, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.

They have four children, Cathy Heasley of Butler; Robert Riemer Jr. of Louisville, Ky.; and Brenda Bauman and Bruce Riemer, both of Cabot.

They also have five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Riemer is retired from Magnetics. He works part time for Butler Stone Craft.

Mrs. Riemer is a retired secretary.

The couple belongs to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
