Irene Myers of Butler, will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Thorncreek Methodist Church, 142 Rockdale Road, Jefferson Township.

The former Irene Falkvitz was born May 27, 1915, in Butler. She married Kenneth Myers Sr. He is deceased.

She has four children, Eleanor Fallecker, Kenneth Myers Jr. and Francis Myers, all of Butler; and Carl Myers of Saxonburg. A daughter, Nannette Myers is deceased.

She also has 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Myers is a homemaker and former Cub Scout leader.

A former member of the Christian Women Group at Thorncreek Methodist Church, she enjoys crocheting.
