Dean and Pearl Rider of Boyers celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner at King's Restaurant in Barkeyville.

The former Pearl Halary married Rider on June 2, 1945, in Butler.

They have four sons, Larry Rider of Sarasota, Fla.; Don Rider and Rich Rider, both of Boyers; and Dennis Rider of Grove City.

They also have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Rider is retired from Armco Steel. He is a veteran of the Navy.

Mrs. Rider is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church in West Sunbury.
