Walter "Butch" and D. Jane Baker celebrated 60 years of marriage with an open house at the First Baptist Church of Evans City.

The former D. Jane Braughler married Baker June 30, 1945, at the bride's home in Zelienople.

They have two children, Candice Follen of San Antonio and Carrie Franz of Portersville. Another daughter, Cindy Baker, is deceased.

They also have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Baker is retired from Universal Manufacturing.

The couple belongs to the First Baptist Church of Evans City.
