Margaret Fassinger of Evans City celebrated her 90th birthday with a an open house Sunday at Mount Nebo Presbyterian Church in Whitestown.

The former Margaret Sloan was born July 6, 1915, in Butler County. She married Robert Fassinger on Feb. 28, 1932. He is deceased.

She has a daughter, Marjorie Cornetti of Prospect, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Fassinger is a homemaker. She is a member of the Mount Chestnut Senior Center and a lifetime member of Mount Nebo Presbyterian Church.
