William and Arla Lang of Cranberry Township celebrated 50 years of marriage Saturday with a family dinner at the Sewickley Speak-Easy.

The former Arla Hague married Lang on June 24, 1955, at Trinity Lutheran Church.

They have three children, William Lang Jr. of Valencia, April Donoughe of Greensburg and Linda Lang of Freedom.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Mr. Lang worked in layout at Robinson Industries for 28 years, retiring in 1997. An avid hunter and fisherman, he is a lifetime member of the Mars Rod and Gun Club.

Mrs. Lang is a housewife. She enjoys knitting, crocheting and fishing.
